My 2012 All-Star Teams

Voting for this year’s all-stars ends tomorrow and the rosters will be revealed on Sunday.  Now would be a good time to post who I think should make the team.  Even though there’s nothing in the rules on how to vote, I like the idea of rewarding players on their performance so far this year while still adhering to the "every team must be represented" rule and the 34-man rosters.

Rather than list every player who came close and just missed the cut, I’ll let you post your own all-star rosters in the comments.

  1. Concerning AL only, I agree with many of your selections. I found it interesting that you only picked one SS and one 2B. So Andrus and Cano would have to play the whole game, or we get to see Miguel Cabrera take a stab at 2nd :-)

I'd drop Reddick, Peavy, and Seager
I'd add Felix H, A. Cabrera, and Kinsler and Start A. Cabrera at SS over Andrus

    1. Oh crap, I forgot to include Asdrubal Cabrera. I had him in there and if you count, I only have 33 players for the AL. For some reason when I was transferring this over from my Excel I missed him.

Kyle Seager is capable of playing 2B and he's my only Mariner.
